ORCHESTRA SINFONICA G. ROSSINI
The G. Rossini Symphony Orchestra (OSR) has two offices in Pesaro and Fano, is recognized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (Mibact) and by the Marche Region. She is the creator, organizer and performer of Sinfonica 3.0, a nationally leading symphonic season. The theaters of Sinfonica 3.0 are: Teatro Rossini in Pesaro, Teatro della Fortuna in Fano, Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi and Teatro Angel dal Foco in Pergola. During the summer it organizes two symphonic seasons of the highest level, Vitruvio 3.0 in Fano and I Concerti Xanitalia in Pesaro.
The OSR pays a lot of attention to training. It organizes projects such as The School Goes to the Theater, the Youth Festival for Music and the Giovani in Crescendo competition, for which it has obtained the recognition of cultural excellence from the Ministry of Education, University and Research (Miur).
He regularly participates in local opera events such as the Rossini Opera Festival, the Fano Opera Season, the Ancona Opera Season and the Jesi Opera Season.
In 2014 she won the Opera Oscar with the DVD of the opera Aureliano in Palmira by Gioachino Rossini, a production of the Rossini Opera Festival and performed live on Rai1 for the 100th anniversary of Coni, at the Nicola Pietrangeli stadium at the Foro Italico in Rome.
In 2016 she performed on Canale5 for B & Z Night (Bocelli and Zanetti Night).

The Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion was founded in 1988 by the municipality of Rishon LeZion and is the largest and the main creative organism in the city. Since 1989 it is the resident orchestra of the Israeli Opera. The Rishon LeZion Orchestra sits at the top of Israel’s artistic pyramid as a leading and innovative musical ensemble.
The quality of the orchestra has earned a high international reputation and has toured around the world, both as an Israeli Opera orchestra and as an independent symphony orchestra. His two concert tours in China have garnered immense success and rave reviews, filling halls in Qingdao, Beijing and Shanghai. The orchestra concert at the Shanghai Music Festival has been described as the main event of the festival. In the summer of 2008, the orchestra embarked on a very successful tour in Argentina, Brazil and other South American countries. The Orchestra has also toured in Italy and Germany and in October 2018 was invited to the prestigious Cervantino Festival in Mexico.
Renowned conductors working with the Israeli Rishon LeZion orchestra include Dan Ettinger, Daniel Oren, Asher Fisch, Michael Boder, Mikhail Yurovsky, Benjamin Wallfisch, Karls-Heinz Steffens, David Greilsammer and Paolo Olmi.
The orchestra works with world famous musicians such as David Garrett, Shlomo Mintz, Daniil Triffonov, Alexander Korsantia, Sergey Nakariakov and Mischa Maisky.
The Rishon LeZion Orchestra holds great importance in music education, which led to the launch of its “First Note” educational program. The aim of this program is to prepare a pool of cultural consumers, sensitive to classical music and to future creators and performers, through direct interaction between orchestral musicians and the community. As part of this program, the orchestra performs in front of kindergarten and school children, mostly from Rishon LeZion, and children also actively participate in concerts. The meetings take place in the educational field with chamber ensembles of the orchestra, as well as at the Rishon LeZion Auditorium in a complete symphonic concert.
The Orchestra regularly collaborates with the Arthur Rubinstein Foundation and also participates in the Israel Music Institute’s Israel Music Festival, as well as other national projects.
The Rishon LeZion Orchestra offers its audiences a wide range of repertoire from all periods, emphasizing the performance of works by Israeli composers in its subscription concerts. Its series includes symphonic concerts, family concerts, Andalusian concerts and musical events with prominent Israeli artists.
The Orchestra was awarded the ACUM Award for its outstanding achievements and excellence in the performance, distribution and promotion of unique Israeli music. The members of the orchestra are made up of the best musicians of the Israeli music scene and new immigrants, who arrived in Israel in the 1980s. The founder and first musical director of the Rishon LeZion Orchestra was Shimon Cohen. Subsequent musical directors were Noam Sheriff, Asher Fisch, the late Mendi Rodan, Dan Ettinger and James Judd.
